MV Metro contain Metronidazole 500mg and it is IV fluid for infection prevention , eradication ,

Indication

The Treatment of infections in which anaerobic bacteria have been identified or are suspected as pathogens , particularly Bacteroides fragilis and other species of bacteroides and including other species for which metronidazole is bactericidal

Dosage

Adminstered slowly by intravenous route . As prescribed by physician .

Usual Dosage : 7.5mg/kg/8hr . In renal insufficiency , the dose of interval is to be extended to 12 hrs. In severe hepatic disease , plasma metronidzole level have to be monitored . (or ) Dosage directed by the physician .
