Description
Gentamicin 80 MG Injection is bactericidal antibiotic which is used to treat a variety of infections caused by the bacteria in the brain, bone, and urinary tract.
Indications
Indication in the following cases.
- Bacteremia
- Intraabdominal Infection
- Bacterial Meningitis
- Osteomyelitis
- Skin and Soft tissue infections
- Pyelonephriits
Dosage
The recommended dosage of gentamicin sulfate for patients with serious infections and normal renal function is 3 mg/kg/day, administered in three equal doses every eight hours or dosage directed by the physician.
