This medicine is prescription only medicine (POM ) and required under medical supervision .
ဤဆေးသည် POM ဆေးအုပ်စုတွင်ပါဝင်သောကြောင့် ဆရာဝန်ညွှန်ကြားချက်အတိုင်းသာ သုံးစွဲသင့်ပါသည် ။

Amlodipine is long-acting calcium channel blocker used as an anti- hypertensive and in the treatment of angina.

Action
It dilates peripheral arterioles and thus, reduces the total peripheral resistance against which the heart works.
The mechanism of action of Almobest also probably involves dilatation of the main coronary arteries and coronary arterioles both in normal and ischaemic regions.

Indication
    Hypertension.
    Prophylaxis of chronic stable angina pectoris.
    Prinzmetal’s (variant) angina when diagnosed by a cardiologist.

Dosage
    In adults: For both hypertension and angina
    The usual initial dose is (5) mg Almobest once daily which may be increased to a maximum dose of (10) mg depending on the individual patient’s response (or ) dosage directed by the physician
