Description
Losartan potassium is Nonpeptide angiotensin II receptor antagonist and selectively  blocks AT receptor , blocks the vasoconstrictor  and aldosterone - secreting effects of angiotensin II

Indication
    Mild to moderate hypertension alone or in combination with other hypertensives ,  Lowers the chance of stroke
    Hypertensive patients with left ventricular hypertrophy , Nephropathy in Type 2 Diabetic patients ,  Heart failure

Dosage
        Usual starting dose is 25 mg or 50 mg once daily depend on individual response or dosage directed by the physician.
