Tranexamin Injection

This medicine is prescription only medicine (POM ) and it is required under medical supervision .

ဤဆေးသည် POM ဆေးအုပ်စုတွင်ပါဝင်သောကြောင့် ဆရာဝန်ညွှန်ကြားချက်အတိုင်းသာ သုံးစွဲသင့်ပါသည် ။

Description

Tranexamin injection contains tranexamic acid 500mg/5ml and it is anti--fibrinolytic agent.

Tranexamic acid is 10 times more potent than Amiocaporic acid and 54% Reduction of blood loss

It is competitive inhibitor of plasminogen activation and reduce the bleeding rate

Indication

Indicated in dysmenorrhoea , menorrhagia due to IUCD , tooth Extraction , bleeding piles , leukemia , aplastic anemia , pre and post operative hemorrhage ( LSCS ) , pheumorrhagia , nephrorrhagia and prostatectomy

Dosage

Dosage for Adut - 250-500 mg /day onc or two divided I.V or IM

If necessary , 500-1000mg by IV or 500 - 2500mg by IV instillation per once

Dosage should be adjusted by the ages and symptoms or dosage directed by the physician
